Default Choctaw Casino, Durant Oklahoma *Trip report*

Well the casino in Durant finally opened their poker room a couple of days ago and I made it up today to play for about 8 hours. The first thing I noticed was how the board is operated and it really is nice. The room itself is separated completly from the rest of the casino, and the board is operated from the outside of the room. Every table has a pager with buttons for chip runners, drink service, and open seats, so it *will* be run very well.

The biggest problem with the poker room right now is that all the dealer's are BRAND new nd completely unexperienced. This means that we were getting in about 10-12 hands per down.

When I first got there (Noon on saturday) there were only 4 tables running. 2/4, 4/8, and two 1/2NL games. When I left there were about 12 games running including a 5/10 limit game and a 2/5NL game.

This room is great, but it needs some time for the floor and dealers to get used to everything.
