[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] from my experiences, phillie fans might be bigger douchebags they used to even boo Mike Schmitt [/ QUOTE ] First of all, it is SCHMIDT. Second of all, Mets fans blow. That is all. [/ QUOTE ] Met fans >>>>>>> Phillies fans this is not an opinion, it is a fact so your comment doesnt bother me In all honesty, i like boston fans. they stick by there team through thick and thin In 1961 Roger Maris broke the homerun record. In 1962 the Mets came into existence. The Mets won 40 games and lost 120 that first year, the worst record in baseball history The Mets outdrew the Yankees in attendance that year. Met fans are also credited with being the first fans to bring banners to games. Casey Stengel used to call them plaquerts. The Mets then began to have banner day doubleheaders, which became a tradition. Now fans of all teams bring banners to games. Mike Schmidt was an awesome player who gave 200% every day. Phillie fans didnt realize how awesome he was. |
