[ QUOTE ]
Nice tool, but it is using so much resources and is slowing me down considerably. Is there anything I can do? [/ QUOTE ] Yes, if you have a fast PC then their is no need for it to eat so much CPU time. (1) You can either run the batch file to try to reduce the priority of the process (making the CPU load still heavy but still prioritizing other tasks over FPHG). (2) You can use the -d option to give back more CPU cycles to the system. Its a fine balance though between missing hands and using a lot of CPU, so you will have to experiment with different delays using the -d option (try using values like "-d 1000" or "-d 1500" and see if you start to lose hands). In general the faster your PC the better, and also you should have plenty of memory as if some of the memory gets paged to disk, FPHG will run much slower and be much more resource hungry. Also the number of tables opened does not have such a great effect on CPU load. Juk |
