[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Okay, I've gotta ask. WTF is wrong with wal-mart? Where do men and women of high class buy toilet bowl cleaner, trash bags, ironing boards, light bulbs or anything else for general home upkeep? Okay, you got me, where do their maids or butlers buy these things? Nine times out of ten if there's a walmart nearby that's where I'm getting these things. If that makes me trashy, well, [censored]. [/ QUOTE ] Ya, I never got this either, its cheap, they got a ton of [censored], who cares? unless you guys are looking for gold strand toilet paper, I dont see what the big deal is. [/ QUOTE ] In my experience, it's not the trashiness of WalMart that make people hate it (even if it's an accusation that comes up a lot), it's what they view as Wal-Mart's lack of corporate responsibility (whatever that is). Wal-mart pays workers crappy, treats them bad, uses unethical foreign labor markets, contributes to ugly urban sprawl, runs the local mom and pop out of business, etc. |
