[ QUOTE ]
One sample of a recent beat that I took... Me: BB with AA (raise 3X BB) (there are 4 limpers); raise knocks out all but one limper; Flop: A-8-9 (rainbow flop); I bet the pot, opponent raises double my bet; Turn: 6; I bet pot again, opponent re-raises all in and I call; Opponent opens with 7-4 River; 5...Trip Aces lose to runner, runner straight... [/ QUOTE ] First off, you should raise more than 3x BB with FOUR LIMPERS. If one of them calls then all of them should call because of pot odds. Second, just think about how many hands you play online and how many times your aces have won. Are you running PT? Look at the statistics for how many times your Aces win and they should all pan out. A bad beat is a bad beat, its a whole different story if your Aces are winning 50% of the time. |
