Incorrect. Yes, the religous schools (that rely on charity) are the cheapest. However, there are a lot of schools out there that charge lower tuition then property taxes and operate without charity of subsidies. I don't think you realize exactely how much per student gets spent on our failure of an educational system. It is rely quite remarkable we get no results with all this money. It isn't that hard to run a school for less.

The netherlands and hong kong already have a well functioning system of private schooling. Shockingly, they end up well educated.
