Re: Dear Bison: March 2006
i have a cat. she's still a kitten really. recently, i left her with my parents when i had to go away for a bit. my parents let her roam outside and come and go as she pleased. now that she's back living with me in my tiny 16th floor apartment, she spends all day standing at the windows and meowing pathetically. is it cruel of me to keep her under these circumstances? should i let my parents have her? they'd love to take her, so it would be no imposistion on them.
Dear Talent,
It can be really nice for you to have a pet, but, yeah, it's hard with a tiny apartment.
The best solution is actually to get a cat leash and walk your cat like a dog once a day. If you can laugh about it, you should be a chick magnet.
