DING! This is the right spirit. Don't get nasty, don't threaten his tokes. Make the reply funny, but pointed. Dealers sometimes say things outta line, often out of boredom or fatigue, and if you just give 'em a look or quiet response they'll instantly realize their oops. You may even get an apology.

It's only if such a response to the dealer generates a nasty backlash from the dealer that it seems worthwhile to take a less friendly tone or contemplate speaking to the floor.

and when the dealer complains to the floor, in private of course, that you said that to him then the floor will take his side and the dealer won't get the education that you hoped for.

Its very simple guys, if you want to say something to the dealer its really to make yourself feel better. This is psychology 101. If you really want to make a change then you wouldn't be seeking a confrontation with the dealer.
