[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Eh, I am kinda glad they sold out. Now I can stop worrying about trying to satty into it, and play real poker. That tourney is going to be a the biggest +EV day of the year for every competent player [/ QUOTE ] I'm thinking I wouldn't sell my seat for less than $2k. Isn't that a reasonable expectation for a decent, not great, tourney donk? [/ QUOTE ] Judging from the play in my Sat the tourney is going to be populated by horrid players. I'm mediocre at best. But here's the thing: Just as I once read a Nascar driver say that he felt safer driving 200 mph on the track than 60 on the freeway with all the 'amatuers' this tourney is going to be one rocky ride. The winner is going to have to dodge a hail of bullets and not just hope for the one or two usual suck-outs to win. btw: In my post mentioning that CAZ is losing money on the tourney and therefor thanking them for hosting it I forgot to mention how much the dealers themselves are 'losing'. The tip pool (even at 5% if it gets that high) isn't enough to compensate them for their time. |
