Excel Template Poker

I don't know how to use excel and what to create a database or log for my poker records. I use PT but also play on some sites that don't support it. What program should I use? Basically, I want to have each week, how much I made and for the program to add it up for me. Breakdowns by month would be helpful too. All information is appreciated.
