100-200 Live: Thin River Value Bet?

I checked behind, he had JJ and I won. My reasons for checking were:
a) On the turn I thought he'd fold the river so even though the ace makes me likely to have the best hand, I still thought i'd be a dog to his calling range based on my turn read.
b) My hand looks a lot like the nut flush draw when I bet the river after the ace comes. I think this strongly dissaudes GOG from making a hero call.
c) His hand could be the nut flush draw (AQ or AJ of spades not at all unlikely)

Kind of a rushed post, but somewhat surprised at how much people liked a bet here: I think it's way closer than the responses seem to indicate
