[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] khan had 9 million starting the hand right ? he raised to 6 million ? Why wouldn't he go all in in the dark, should he wait for the flop to push to gain any fold equity from yang ? No way u should fold to any flop yourself so is there really any FE if u push the flop? What am I missing here. [/ QUOTE ] you're not missing anything: - he should have just went all in preflop - since he didn't, he's not folding any flop - going all in in the dark vs. waiting for the flop to shove makes no difference in terms of EV, FE, anything [/ QUOTE ] Unless Yang, getting the worst imaginable flop, somehow finds a fold for 3 mil into 16 mil. Its not impossible, and it doesnt impact the EV (as long as he also finds a fold when it comes A or Q high) but it does probably decrease his chance of being eliminated. [/ QUOTE ] he's less likely to find a fold on a bad flop if you just shove blind than if you wait to shove [/ QUOTE ] Agreed entirely, thats what I was trying to say. |
