Quite a few people in this thread are putting people on very big hands simply because they've bet, raised, or made a big call. People put Yang on AA when his opponent had QQ. Some thought Yang was up against a set of Tens there.

It reminds me of the commentary on the old WSOP broadcasts. If somebody raised, the commentators put him on the nuts.

Thats not exactly why, but I think you have a really good point. I think a lot of us have a hard time putting the situation in context. We don't really know what the pressure of that much money would do to us. I think it would put me into superTAG mode, meaning if I'm calling that raise I have a premium hand, but even more so, if I checkCALL that flop, I have a monster. I'm never checkcalling that flop with AK or AQ because I'm too much of a pussy, with that much money out, I'm c/r or b/f.
