Have to pick a University for a year in America
I currently study at the University of Karlsruhe in Germany and am applying for a program that would send me to a university in North America for a year.
They gave me a list of possible schools and I have to make a priority list of 3-4. The problem is I know nothing about the schools yet. It will significantly lower my chance of getting into the program if I pick top schools so I'm aiming for something mediocre to good. I study Business Engineering (meaning business AND engineering departments are of interest to me) and would be enrolled in the graduate program of which ever university I end up with. I'd really appreciate it if people could give me any information about the universities ("this school sucks", "this one has a great faculty but the parties suck" "you need to be extremely good to be accepted to this one"). Obviously this shouldn't be any work for you but I'm sure some of you know stuff about one or the other.
