New poster here looking to get some advice on this hand.
Villian seems to be a pretty decent player 15/9/2.4 Full Tilt 0.50/1 Hold'em (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 5 folds, Villian raises, 2 folds, Hero calls. Turn: (4.25 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, Villian bets, Hero calls. River: (6.25 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, Villian bets, Hero calls. Final Pot: 8.25 BB Is it okay to check-call down in this situation. I didn't put him on a flush because I don't think he would be value raising heads up on the flop. I don't give him credit for AK because he's in late position and could just be trying to steal. I'm thinking he has a weaker ace than me. Is check-calling the right play here? Also, should I consider 3-betting here preflop if I think he is trying to steal? Or does being out of position suggest I should probably just call. |
