Villains:
BB is 29/17/2.2. I have no reason to believe he is out of line here. SB is 33/3/4.5. His WTSD is something like 17. He is capable of bluffing and making weird plays on flops and turns, but is usually straightforward on the river. I've seen him minraise/fold a paired flop and a Qhigh flop. I've also seen him minraise/push a twotone flop with TPTK. All examples are from HU pots only. He probably sees me as an aggressive player and minraises to feel me out. Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 4 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) SB: $109.98 BB: $140.81 UTG: $99.50 Hero (BTN): $119.28 Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 Players) UTG folds, Hero raises to $4.00, SB calls $3.50, BB raises to $16.00, Hero calls $12.00, SB calls $12.00 Three reasons for calling. (1) BB is probably not bluffing, and I think it would be pretty easy to get it in with a non-threatening board, or least nab a c-bet in case he is squeezing light. (2) SB is likely to come along, giving me an opportunity to make more money postflop in case BB is not willing to comply. (3) I have position. Flop: ($48) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players) SB checks, BB bets $33.00, Hero calls $33.00, SB raises to $66.00, BB raises all-in to $124.81, Hero ... I called the first time around to keep BB betting, since I know all the money is getting in before showdown anyway. Who knows, maybe SB will even come along with a AJ/JT type hand. When he minraises, I figure he probably has a set, since he's not repping much else. When BB comes over top, I figure him for an overpair or maybe maybe something like AJ. |
