Default Re: Won a 3 million dollar prop bet

[ QUOTE ]
Recently I bet a well known poker player (who requested to remain anonymous) that I could walk into Congregation Ner Tamid and lead an entire service posing as a Rabbi. Using my excellent beard and cunning Hebrew skills, I won this bet. Given that until the time the bet was placed, (about a month ago) I had not practiced Judaism at all, nor spoke a word of Hebrew, I believe this to be one of the greatest prop-bet accomplishments ever. Please discuss.

This is definitely fake. My best guess is that it's Sklansky and Malmuth behind it.

S & M are a little miffed at BeeGee for the video interview where he denigrated poker books other than his own ( see my thread in "Books & Publications" ).

I really doubt anyone could get BeeGee's password out of him other than Sebok or his girlfriend, and I don't see their motivation.

An outside shot is that it's a prop bet between BeeGee and S & M to see how many 2p2'ers would be fooled and offer congratulations.

Good clues are : What rabbi would allow this ? Barry could have payed him off, but wouldn't he lose his rabbidom if higher-ups found out ?

Finally, don't forget about the NVG'er who called Barry an ugly monkey/ape. This might be purely Barry's revenge on NVG.
