[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Lolololol. I hope you understand that the above is completely different from the situation at hand. It's another story if the father was paying extra for the song and dance routine. [/ QUOTE ] How exactly is this different? He was not paying extra for blueberry pie in stead of banana splits. They are the same price. [/ QUOTE ] did the dad pay the restaurant to sing happy birthday? you cant be this stupid. [/ QUOTE ] they only decided to eat there because they were told that the waiters would sing the song. [/ QUOTE ] okay, by that logic they shouldnt have paid for dinner, and just walked out. sounds reasonable. [/ QUOTE ] Completely agree that that's what they should have done. EDIT: It's not just that they didn't deliver, but that they didn't even give the guy warning or try to be nice about it. It would be different if the owner or hostess or someone had come over at some point before and talked to the guy and told him "I'm sorry, we made a mistake when we said we would sing happy birthday, our policy has changed, etc." But to just not follow through on what you said and act like the guy isn't supposed to notice is beyond douche. |
