Yeah I'm seeing this a lot in stores in teh last few months. I agree that the ragged look going with otherwise decent looking shorts isn't so great. These look to me kind of like someone did a raggedy cut of long pants. I'd rather have finished shorts. Plus, the unfinished ends of pants can tickle too much.
