Michigan gets a bad rap and isn't that bad. It's far behind the likes of Gary, Indiana, NJ, perhaps Balitmore, etc. I even remember that, perhaps West Bloomfield, MI is one of the safest in the country. There is another place up north that was rated as one of the safest, but hell nothing is up there but deer!
