I was driving on the highway and was running a little late, so I was driving fast/aggressive. I got pulled over by a trooper, and the charges were driving 30 over the speed limit (would have been faster but cars were in the way), and, more seriously, aggressive driving, meaning I changed lanes suddenly without using my turn signal. I was actually being pretty egregious, passing people on the right etc., so I was not at all surprised to get pulled over (other than not noticing there was a trooper behind me, d'oh).
So the trooper takes my license etc. and walks back to his car, then like a minute later he comes up and gives me everything back and says he got called to talk to a legislator or something and it was my lucky day. I got off scot-free (technically with a warning). Sweeeeeeeeeet!
I didn't realize this, but aggressive driving is pretty serious where I live. I was about to receive an $800 ticket (not that big a deal because I'm a baller), and a bunch of demerit points. The problem was I already had some demerits from a speeding ticket, and the two together were enough to cost me my license for a year. [censored] [censored] [censored]!!! I probably could have gotten out of it with traffic school or a plea bargain or something, but no matter what it was going to suck huge monkey balls. I figure once I got pulled over it was a one-outer at best for the cop to get called away on something. WINNAR!!!
Also, here's a pic of the car I drive (not my actual car, but the same make, model, and color).
