facepull - you are still being idiotically hostile and are still being a dick.
this seems consistent with some other posts of yours I have seen. Also, I'm not sure what 4/8 limit games you have played in, but where I play the standard buy-in is usually $100. Yes, it's pretty retarded. But that's what most players buy-in for. 4/8 and 6/12 is pretty low stuff. And the $100 buy-in is definitely lame. But I would much rather have 6/12 limit with a $100 buy-in (knowing that many players will soon have much more than their original buy-in) than 2/4 limit with a $5,000 buy-in. You trying to belittle my point by just saying, "you are not a winning player" is really dumb. Maybe my assessment on how this might work out is erroneous. But you are essentially saying, "I disagree with you therefore you are an idiot and must be a horrible player." legislurker - I'm not talking about playing it full-time for a living. That would be pretty stupid. Of course the most you could make at such games would not be a great wage. That discussion has been had time after time (in the B&M forum and elsewhere). Trying to play 4/8 limit full-time for a living is not a good idea. I haven't read the whole thread, just the last few posts so don't know if you are bringing this aspect up on your own or if you are responding to an earlier discussion about trying to play 4/8 limit full-time for income. Personally, I'm just looking forward to having games there that can be moderately profitable and not completely 1/2 limit-retarded for occasionally getting out of the everyday online-grind. |
