Default Re: Ethics of Releasing Sensitive Information - ZJ related.

[ QUOTE ]

If you're pulled over for a speeding violation and refuse a "request" to search your vehicle (or body), that alone is probable cause in most jurisdictions and no good will come of it.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm pretty sure this is wrong. However you do not have the right to refuse a DUI test. Perhaps that is what you are thinking of.

As to the other issue, ZJ cheated and the poker sites have a responsibility to maintain a fair game, it is what the rake pays for, and every player implicitedly agrees to this by paying rake. Part of preventing cheating is publication/exposing of players who cheat, because this creates a deterrent to stop other players from cheating.

However, I would think it a problem if PP published ZJ's home address, SSN, Credit card/Neteller #, Medical info, etc. Disclosing all Personal information is different than just disclosing enough information to identify the cheater.

Which is just enough to ruin the reputation of ZJ. But if your reputation is ruined by the TRUTH of something you chose to do, then that is your problem.
