I think you've handled this situation terrible. First off, you shouldn't have posted the blog. This could have been swept under the carpet. Need to know basis. The internet didn't need to know.

Now that you've posted it and aired your views, you're at the realm of public opinion. As much as we think we are right, there will always be people who disagree. In your case, many people think you were out-of-order. You were.

Granted you were celebrating, but perhaps you should have jumped in a car, got someone to else to drive, and sink some beers en-route to a few days at the lake. Took stock and planned your next charge at a bracelet. I think it would have done wonders for you. You love the lake and thats where you should have celebrated, not playing 1-3 drunken poker at the Wynn.

In addition, regardless of your view that your blog is a volunteer one, you are still a face on one of the poker sites. You became a representative of that site, no matter if you receive a commission from the site or not. Mason made some very good points and much can be gained by re-reading them and attempting to adhere to.

This is all a shame, as people tend to remember bad things over good, so don't be surprised if you're called 'The guy who finished 2nd, cashed 140K' with a few extra bits added to the end.

One thinks you should take stock, think about what poker means for you, and if it includes bracelets or wpt titles, attempt to mature-up and let your play do the talking, you don't need to be having alcohol fuelled discussions with a person who is at a higher authority level than yourself. Seledom does it work out in your favor.

Good luck for the rest of the series, maybe you can let your play do some talking by going deep, cashing more, and possibly winning a bracelet.

Goto the lake next time.
