How often do you forget stuff instantly?

Ha cool thread.

Stuff like this happens to me all the time. I always find it weird b/c I've got a better memory than the average bear.

I'd say number 1 is standard b/c most of the time people are thinking something to the extent of "Ok make eye contact, shake his/her hand," while also thinking about what they'll say next to initiate conversation. So given that ppl are so concerned w/ their own gestures, they forget to pay attention to what the other person is saying at that moment. In short, I can understand this one.

No. 2 happens to me often when something influential happened recently (have lots of work, made lots of money, lost lots of money, looking forward to something great, etc).

No 3 happens a good amount and I'm surprised it happens to other ppl. I think it's so pathetic. I guess it's a sign that whatever show I was watching isn't that interesting and I should prolly go outside n play bball er something.
