he thinks it, along with championships won and quality of supporting cast are the most important things in rating how great a player is. Unless we're talking about Nash (low PER, no rings, great supporting cast) - then none of those things matter.

JoA, I think that PER is one of the better stats, but like all stats it doesn't provide us with the whole story.
