With the money I bought 10 Marlboro Lights, 2 bagels, 1 large strawberry muffin, and made a donation to a busker I just stood and listened to perform Dylan's 'I Want You' and 'Just Like a Woman'. It was an uncannily good Dylan impersonation; the voice, the harmonica, the guitar all spot on, and two of my favourite songs.

I still have £1.50 left for tomorrow. Result!

Yeah, I know. I've been this poor before. Although, uh, never while I was gainfully employed, which is quite a feat.

Eventually I decided that as much as I liked walking the streets high all day, I needed to eat regularly, and paying rent was a good idea too.
