After getting a 10 billionth hand promo email for PS I finally decided to set up up a PS account to at least clear a couple of deposit bonus's.
Set up the account, funded it with my VISA card no problems. I'm a BRITISH citizen who holds a US Green card (permanant resident) I'm away from my home base in the USA right now so I thought what the hell I'll use my old UK VISA card. It's in good standing, my credit history is clean etc. Account funded no problem, I play for a couple of days. Get close to clearing the 1st $50 initial bonus then bam I'm frozen until I fax them my credit card, drivers license, utility bills, pound of flesh, mothers heirlooms etc. Anyone else had this happen? This is total BS and I would not have funded the account this way had I known. They didn't let me know up front this would be required. It's just like those scammy sports betting sites that let you deposit then freeze the money until various conditions are met. These are conditions I do not agree with in the first place. Seeing as I'd have to send these details off from a public locale right now I will not comply with them for at least 1 month. Totally bad form from PS to pull this crap. They need to be upfront about this kind of thing. I feel like I've been tricked by a site which is supposed to be reputable |
