Re: Tunica Horseshoe 10/20
The one time I sat in the 10-20 at Horseshoe reminded me a lot of the old pre-6 max and pre-UIGEA Party 2-4 games. People basically playing "correctly", but so much so that they might as well have been playing with their hole cards face-up. This game was also peppered with enough clueless people that made it quite profitable.
One thing that I have noticed about the 1-2 NL games in both Tunica and Biloxi: From a theoretical/bankroll standpoint, you might as well call them 2-5 NL games. Preflop raises are usually around $20, the average stacks are around $500 (with many four-digit stacks), and the amount of bets postflop is more representative of a 2-5 game. Needless to say, most of the games are uncapped buy-ins. The Hollywood in Tunica does have a $200 cap on its 1-2 NL game, but it is an absolute nitfest.
