the bergen record - i think that's northjersey.com - bob klapisch wrote an article that appeared either on thursday or friday i think? most of it quotes unnamed inside yankee sources, but klapisch isn't the Post (and writes for ESPN.com from time to time I *think*) so it's fairly substantial.
