What if there is no WU in my city? Will they just send it to the nearest one?

I requested a payout by check by mail of $500 that was approved on April 1 and still have not received it. I called them again today and they said that there was no timetable but to call back in a week and they might have more info. After reading this thread, I want to see if I can change the payout method to a money transfer. But then again, after waiting this long I figure I might as well just wait it out since I don't need the money any time soon.

get the WU. they don't send it to a specific WU, nor do you have to get it in your city. for that matter, the address doesn't even have to match the one on your id, but make sure you put the one its supposed to get sent to on the form they give you at the WU.
