Dude, the Raiders almost never have draft picks this low.

The gist is that the Raiders were doing everything in their power to get a QB so they can get Calvin Johnson. They know he's the better pick and they want him. But if they can't get a QB, and they won't, they have to take JaMarcus Russell. There's no other way around it, unless you take Brady Quinn instead.
