Default Re: List of eWallets for Canadians

[ QUOTE ]
The spread my bank uses for USD conversion is 2.5%. I've been trying to find better rates. I've never used a currency exchange before. How would you wire money to a currency exchange using Moneybookers? Do they have a SWIFT code?

[/ QUOTE ]

For a bank account a 2.5% spread isn't bad. Likely TD's borderless I bet. If you are with them look into setting up a trading account with TD Waterhouse as the spread there is about 1% (100 basis points). I haven't done it but I would guess that it would be simple to transfer money via a TD account and use the exchange rates offered by the trading account. Worth a look anyway, especially if you're changing around tons of cash.
