[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] "Today, I did it. I played PLO with no sngs. I made $168. My total for the week is $358. I have made $1058 since I became a pro. That is practically enough to live on for a month. The rest of the month will be extra money" Someone is forgetting about things such as taxes and other non-direct expenses, methinks. Good luck. How does the grand compare to driving a cab (in Wichita?) for two weeks? [/ QUOTE ] Everybody keeps mentioning taxes. Not sure which countries you guys live in, but Wichita happens to be in the United States. In the United States money is taken from the rich and given to the poor. So until you make enough to overcome the standard deduction, taxes really isn't an issue. He can worry about taxes when he wins the Sunday Million. [/ QUOTE ] I'm sure many readers here would disagree with you. But that's a topic for another thread. It's also moot; if wickss maintains anywhere even close to his current win rate for the duration, he will be well into the income level for paying into the system. |
