That is a bad reason. This will continue to occur with split forums, but merely at a slower rate. In fact, in the lower stakes forum it will happen at a similar rate.

If hands moving to page 2+ is the reason discussion is supposedly "down" then we have greater collective problems than there not being a split. Again, I am opposed to the split for mostly selfish reasons, but I also have not seen any rationale besides "too lazy to click".

FWIW, I'm lazy too...
