[/ QUOTE ] The marketing stresses lines like that when it may just be a throw away line in the movie. It is written and directed by Scott Frank who is general considered one of the top 5/10 screenwriters working in the industry in the past 10-15 years. Everyone I know who has seen it thought it was very good and took them by surprise.
