Re: List of eWallets for Canadians
My latest MB update.
First, the bad news. Nothing new on my Party or UB depsoits, or my Everest lock. Grrrrrr. Standard in this industry, though, for CS to take forever...unless you're dealing with one of the few gems like Stars, Stan James, Nordicbet...I'm sure there are a few others.
Now to the good news. Just went to my bank (Credit Union, actually - Coast Capital) in regards to the transfer. Yes they can do it, no there is no fee for a transfer <$100. $15 for $100-$999, $25 for $1,000+. Takes up to 7 days to get there. Unfortunately I couldn't do it while I was there, as all of the routing numbers weren't enough...they also require the addresses of both MB and the German bank...sigh.
Some more good news. There is some awkward wording on their limits page that seemed to imply that even though they call it an "outgoing transaction limit", the limits might apply to transfers both ways. Not so, according to the email they sent me. The limit applies to any money leaving your MB account...either sent to a merchant, or withdrawn to your bank account, cheque, etc. In other words, if you transfer $5,000 to poker sites, and $5,000 back to your MB account, that only counts as $5,000 against your limit, not $10,000.
