Default i just don\'t get it

ok so i'm very new to sportsbetting but i'm amazed at how good the sportsbooks are at handicapping an event as unpredictable as the rookie sophmore challenge.

the players are playing reckless throwing the ball behind their back, attempting all kinds of crazy shots and yet the game ends in a push, in regards to the line.

the line was rooks +10 and they went from being up early to being down 23 to finally losing by 10.

just curious as to how these guys can handicap a game like this so accurately even though its so unpredictable.

any thoughts?
