General Music Discussion Thread (a.k.a. indie lovefest)

Hey all. My roomate found this awesome group called the Soulsavers and I am really digging them.

They have a heavy hip-hop, gospel, rock, and soul influence as well as some experimental sounds at times reminding me of Pink Floyd.

Their new album entitled Its Not How Hard You Fall Its the Way You Land is due to come out in England (No US distributor) on April 5th 2007. The album features Mark Lanegan on eight of the tracks, who has a very unique and powerful voice.

This band is definitely worth checking out.
