London vs. Sydney - cardroom vs. lifestyle comparison

I'm thinking of studying abroad sometime within the next couple years, and I'm still deciding whether or not London or Sydney is what I want. Could those of you that have been to both places just compare the two and just give me a feel for what it would be like living there, with emphasis on poker and night life and, oh yeah, the business aspects of each too (I'm an econ major)?
