You were incredibly stupid. Why the hell did you speed? A lot of people, me included, have a few pops and drive. When you take the chance and do this, you have to be smart about it and going 90 mph is not smart.
If you were driving normally and got stopped for a broken taillight that you didn't know about, I'd have some sympathy, but you just really [censored] up by giving them a reason to stop you and put you in the position you are now in.
Having said all that, I think if you get a good DUI lawyer, you can probably beat this.
