is all kind of silly.

Just tell him your freaking name already.

Yeah, so he said it in a professional tone instead of yelling at the guy (like he was probably being yelled at) but it still seems a bit douchey.

Definitely not worth firing over though. That's just weird.

My post a page or two back explained why this kind of thing happens probably a lot more than you suspect. This kind of thing isn't uncommon. I saw it all the time for many years.
