I'd say I've grown fond of a few of them. I always preferred having a steady girl or two and I would choose ones that were comfortable to be with and personable rather than just based on looks. After a while of that a sort of relationship develops. None of them ever needed 'rescuing' in the sense of escaping from bondage. As to getting them to 'leave the life' and run off with me I'd considered that with the last one but, frankly, I was too old for her.

Trench coats, lol. Actually, I wish I got to wear my nice couple of trench coats every now and then but I live in Metro-Phoenix now and have no need for them. Then again maybe I should wear them to Casino Arizona where it was so damn cold tonight that I put on the scarf my sister knitted for me.
