talking helps.... so yes talk to your mom, if she's still around, talk to family, to friends (though it will feel like they only have to live w/ your pain while they're talking to you, and so they don't really understand.... but such conversations help too), to your god if you believe, to your dad - out loud....

don't be in a rush to force yourself back to happy.... chilling is a good idea like previously mentioned.... reading, music, whatever... good luck and my condolences
