thanks for the replies,

Yeah I think I felt that because I was viewed as a fairly tight player (had only showed down strong pocket pairs, steal attempts had worked without having to show a hand), that he would put me on a high PP. JJ-AA

I figured him on many hands including 910s j10s,jq,jk,aj,aq,ak and possibly a better pocket pair. So I felt I had a fairly good shot at a race if he happened to have a strong hand.

even after he had invested 1200 I thought he was probably still capable of making a lay down as his stack was still big enough to do so.

Anyway he flipped over 88
