Convo I had with a player who I deeply respect and who has made like 450k from poker.

Snakekilla88: Over past week I have been grinding 3/6nl on stars usually 5 tables
Snakekila88: I ran so hot in January (25k month), but now I am down 5k over not a huge sample but I am still frustrated, I notice it is tougher to get your stack in and the games are certainly getting tougher. Each mistake I make, its hard to earn money back, I mean I constantly have to be on my A game.
ZZZZ: yes the games are extremo tough
Snakekilla88: yeah the games suck right now, and maybe I should be thankful for the nice run and cash out before I lose my roll. Like I saw Colombos post in bbv and other people complaining and it scares me.
ZZZZ: ya thats fine
ZZZZ: or just play 100 or 200nl
Snakekilla88: yeah , I mean crap though, I already grinded 100/200nl over a huge # of hands, and I was definitely one of better regulars but seems like to beat 600nl+ requires huge time commitment to your game
