[ QUOTE ]
this is a good thread for The Dorm, as there are some good threads there. i'm a lawyer who has gone through the hiring process on both sides, and i'm of the opinion that nothing speaks like a degree from a top 20, the higher the better. i think it's a +EV move for pretty much anyone to go to the highest ranked school they get into, regardless of scholarship. lawyers get paid pretty well, so paying off the school loans is no prob generally. a better school will just open more doors. others (drewdevil) disagree and think that loans are a burden to run and hide from. [/ QUOTE ] Though about posting in the dorm, but I figured it would go unanswered for a week. FYI here is the list of schools to which I applied. I think top 20 is worth rejecting Baylor, but maybe nothing else. #8 Michigan #11 Duke #13 Cornell #14 Georgetown #15 UCLA #16 UT - Austin #17 Vanderbilt #22 Notre Dame #27 William and Mary #37 George Mason #39 Ohio State #43 SMU #51 Baylor |
