[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Was just speaking to frozinite on IRC. He was playing at stars and got kicked off in the middle of his set, now he cant access any poker site or 2+2 or cardplayer but everything else is fine. He thinks that his college might have blocked poker sites.... Not that I want to start a panic or anything.... :-p [/ QUOTE ] i hope theyre a private institution....thats absurd, and although possible, i find it to be unlikely. I havent heard any menion of this happening anywhere until this so, im gonna wait until we have a more solid word on the matter before continuing with the panic. I'm on my schools internet right now with all of my normal poker programs open...but then again, he and I are on opposite coasts.... [/ QUOTE ] Do colleges generally block any sites at all? Porn? Napster/file sharing? I would expect a lot of colleges, certainly including public schools, would block gambling sites now unless they have a policy to never block anything at all. |
