birthday check........denied

I am a middle stakes limit player who mostly just browses on here due to my lack of ability to entertain with my words. But, I encountered a situation the other night that had BBV written all over it!

Brag: My 24th b-day was last week, and I gets lots of money!

Beat: 10k check from my uncle was made out to my school this year instead of me because he thought he should help pay for my education. What takes this beat to the next level is that I don't even pay for my school, my parents do.

Variance: I have gotten a check from my uncle close to this size every year of my life until this year, and they have always been made out to me.

I actually thought the check was made out to me, and then 5 minutes later my girl thought she would point out that the check was made out to my college.
