I haven't had to wait that long, the longest was about 20 mins or so for PS to complete the transfer.

If they check their account they'll see if it is still there or not.

Not sure if they are responding to you but you could ask them to send an email to support and CC you as well so you know they did indeed contact support about it.

As of last night, stars transfers < $2k were going thru within 20 mins. Stars transfers of > $2k were taking up to 2hrs for me, including a security confirmation via email.
